Congregational Church of Minnesota UCC is liberal in theology,
welcoming in worship, traditional in architecture, and dignified
in tone.
We
value inclusive language and imagery because we believe that
our liturgical expression should reflect God's expansive love
for all humanity. We speak of God in both female and male terms
as well as through images that are gender-neutral, such as Rock,
Spirit, and Eternal One. We are an Open and Affirming, Just
Peace church, welcoming people of all races, cultures, and sexual
orientations.
Musical
styles in worship vary from classical to gospel, medieval to
contemporary. Our choir and choir director are exceptional for
a church of about 250 members.
We
value an educated clergy, sermons that speak to the issues of
the day, the experience of shared prayer, and the ministry of
the entire community - both lay and ordained.
